Product Overview
The SYT18-L18MB is one of JIULI's best EMI suppression components. It works seamlessly with our popular High-frequency Transformer and Switching Power Supply Transformer lines.
We build it with high-performance ferrite cores and precise windings. That means it blocks more noise across a wide range of frequencies. It holds up in tough industrial settings, too. It’s a great match for our other power management parts, including our Ring Electronic Transformer solutions.

Features & Advantages
How It Works
The SYT18-L18MB has two symmetric windings around a high-permeability ferrite core. When noise flows through both windings the same way, it creates a strong magnetic field that blocks the noise. But normal current flows in opposite directions, so the fields cancel out—meaning little to no signal loss.
Key Features
- Blocks noise across a wide range: Works from 10kHz to 30MHz, better than most industry standards
- Handles high current: 18A rated, with a 35A saturation point—good for heavy-duty industrial use
- Works with our transformers: Fits perfectly with JIULI's Switching Power Supply Transformer line
Why It’s Better Than Others
Compared to standard common-mode inductors, the SYT18-L18MB blocks 25% more noise and runs 18% cooler under full load. Our special core material keeps it working consistently, even when voltage changes. It handles sudden spikes better and lasts longer than competitors.
How to Install & Use
- Before you install: Make sure your setup stays between -40°C and +125°C. Check that the inductor’s size and current rating fit your circuit.
- Mounting: Place it on the PCB where you planned. Keep it away from heat sources. Tighten fasteners to 0.9N·m (8 in-lbs).
- Wiring: Connect power lines to the marked terminals—follow the polarity. Leave at least 3mm space between this part and others.
- Pairing with transformers: When using with JIULI's High-frequency Transformer, put the inductor close to the transformer’s output. This blocks the most noise.
- Testing: After installing, check for continuity and insulation before powering up. Test EMC compliance to make sure noise is reduced.
Where to Use It
The SYT18-L18MB works in many industries, like:
- Industrial power supplies and inverters—especially with JIULI's High Frequency Electrical Transformer

How We Make It & Check Quality
We follow strict steps to make sure every SYT18-L18MB works well and lasts:
- Materials: We pick top ferrite cores and high-purity copper wire—only from trusted suppliers
- Core prep: We machine and treat cores to make their magnetic properties better and reduce loss
- Winding: Computer-controlled machines wind the wire—so turns are exact and tension is even
- Assembly: Robots put it together, with cameras checking alignment and connections
- Coating: We use epoxy resin under controlled heat and pressure to seal it
- Electrical tests: Every unit gets checked for inductance, resistance, and dielectric strength
- Environmental tests: We sample units to test temperature cycling, vibration, and humidity resistance
- Packaging: Anti-static packaging with labels to track each part through its life

Common Questions
What is the difference between common mode inductor and differential mode inductor?
Common-mode inductors block noise that flows the same way through both wires. Differential-mode ones block noise between two wires. The SYT18-L18MB is made to block common-mode noise in power lines.
Can I use this with non-JIULI transformers?
Yes. It’s optimized to work with JIULI's Switching Power Supply Transformer, But it also fits most standard transformers and power supply components.
How long does it take to get one?
Standard SYT18-L18MB inductors take 2-3 weeks. Custom versions take 4-6 weeks, depending on what you need and how many you order.
Do you offer samples for testing?
Yes, for qualified customers. Contact our sales team to get samples and tech datasheets.
