How to detect inductor coils?

(1) When selecting and using an inductor coil, the first thing to think about is the inspection and measurement of the coil, and then to judge the quality and advantages of the coil. To accurately detect the inductance and quality factor Q of the inductor coil, special instruments are generally required, and the test method is relatively complicated.

(2) Before installing the coil, an appearance inspection should be carried out.
Before use, check whether the coil structure is firm, whether the wire turns are loose or detached, whether the lead wire contacts are loose, whether the magnetic core rotates flexibly, and whether there are slip buckles. After all these aspects have been inspected and qualified, installation can be carried out.

(3) If the coil needs to be fine-tuned during use, the fine-tuning method should be considered.
Some coils need to be fine-tuned during use, and it is inconvenient to change the number of coil turns. Therefore, the fine-tuning method should be considered when selecting. For example, a single-layer coil can be made by removing the number of coils near the end point, that is, 3 to 4 turns are pre-wound on one end of the coil. When fine-tuning, the inductance can be changed by moving its position.

(4) When using the coil, pay attention to maintaining the original inductance of the coil.
When using the coil, do not change the shape of the coil. The size and distance between the coils will affect the original inductance of the coil. Especially the higher the frequency, the fewer the number of turns of the coil.

(5) The installation of the adjustable coil should be easy to adjust
The adjustable coil should be installed in an easy-to-adjust position of the machine to facilitate the adjustment of the inductance of the coil to achieve the best working state.
